Juno Beach Center

The tribute to the Canadian sacrifice

Project Description

Located near Courseulles-sur-Mer in Normandy, the Juno Beach Centre is a memorial that seeks to perpetuate the memory of the war effort and sacrifices of Canadians during the Second World War. It’s an interpretation center with an educational and cultural mission addressed to children and adults. In collaboration with museum experts and specialists of this project, we studied, implemented and coordinated all relevant multimedia elements for the proper functioning of the seven room venue using a video distribution system of 37 servers, along with an interactive broadcast system connecting 40 computers to the central server.

Lest we forget

Project Description

We acted as consultants to guide the customer in the choice of technology and the establishment of all specifications. The idea of offering a striking and unforgettable experience for visitors inspired the professional team to put in place an effective mechanism from the point of view of communication rather than management. The best solution was to design reliable and easy to use technological systems and maintenance. For example, the management system we have developed allows close monitoring of the wear of the museum spotlight lamps and facilitates maintenance. The Holocaust Memorial Centre retains and enhances a collection of 6,000 artifacts gathered from family memories of survivors who settled in Canada, and offers complementary information using video screen broadcast, but also computer graphics.
