Desjardins Maria-Chapdelaine Hall | Lac-St-Jean

The most beautiful venue in Quebec, my oh my!

 Project description

The performance hall in Dolbeau-Mistassini wowed the gallery when it opened. Its seductive shapes inspired by European operas, its intimate volumes and the richness of its scarlet dress make it a glamourous gem. The public, the artists and the artisans have lavished their praises; the comfortable galleries, the acoustic performance, the proximity to the public/artist and the scenic infrastructures that exceed the standards of the entertainment industry in Quebec.

Our commitment

We participated in the realization of this project on several levels. First of all, we collaborated in the writing of the program dedicated to architectural competitions. Subsequently, we participated in the development of proposals responding to this competition and finally, we assumed the role of designer in the design team. Together with professionals, we have contributed to the configuration and ergonomics of the different spaces and the integration of scenic and technological infrastructure.
