Put your ice skates on !!!

Project description

We were contracted to direct the integration of scenographical and technological systems for the Centre de glaces Intact Assurance, which opened its doors in summer 2021. The ice ring’s surface is in line with the most regulated international norms and its size makes it the biggest indoor ice skating rink in America.

Our conception of sonic, video and marking systems allows the center to be the host for various types of events, such as public and professionnal practice of ice sports and high performance competitions. The ice rink can also transform into a dancefloor, thanks to 40 fully integrated motorized projectors and three wide screens. No one would know, because this equipment has been meticulously concealed in the ceiling and blends into the white decor. Tackling a project of such ambitious height was no small feat, but we succeeded nonetheless !

Our team was brought on board to guide the NFB in the development on technic and technological concepts throughout the building. Our mandate was executed in multiple steps, allowing us to use our expertise on different projects. This results in the NFB being host to production, creation and animation studios, as well as exhibition spaces. It is a real joy to be able to have left our mark on this red-striped structure!

North Shore’s most awaited

Project description

Go Multimedia was mandated by the City of Repentigny to design a hybrid performance hall within its Cultural Space. Its three configurations, fixed seats (Italian style), cabaret or standing, allow the holding of popular amplified shows, corporate events with reception tables, musical productions, but also classical music concerts. After having been awaited for several decades in its community, the hall was finally able to open in the spring of 2021. Its design and construction, as well as its acoustic shell, give it a rare acoustic quality, among the most exceptional in the country. We are happy that the result is up to par.

Our implication

Involved from the start of the project, our team provided complete scenographic work, affecting the hall as well as the foyer, dressing rooms and technical spaces. We provided cutting-edge technical assistance to professionals, to the broadcaster and its technical team, and of course to the City of Repentigny. After having designed and specified the lifting and covering system, the acoustic shell and the multimedia systems, we ensured the proper completion of the project and the implementation of our prescriptions, until the opening show.

Project description

In the heart of Mont-Mégantic National Park, the ASTROLab is a museum and activity centre in astronomy dedicated to the public. As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Mont-Mégantic Park, we participated in the upgrading of the audio-video system of their multimedia room. This renovation allowed L’ASTROLab to acquire a 4K+-UHD video system, a 7.1 space sound system and a control room adapted to the quality of their productions and activities. The operating console in the theatre, with its monitors, console and touch screen, offers the ergonomics and accessibility necessary for the presenter to immerse spectators in total immersion.

RECEPTION PAVILION | NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF QUEBEC

For the past, present and future of Quebec

Project description

It’s in June 2019 that the National Assembly of Quebec reveals its new reception pavilion, designed to modernize the building and cater to the visitors’ new needs. Indeed, the Assembly’s latest major addition to its original configuration was in 1917, when its restaurant Le Parlemtaie opened its doors. We were asked to guide our client towards realistic and conceivable technological approaches to allow audio and high resolution video broadcast within the pavilion. The intention was to create a space where visitors could learn about the history of the Assembly. Screens embedded in the walls and a projector hidden away in the ceiling, close to the sky-light, make this all possible. Here’s a guided tour of the facilities on the National Assembly of Quebec’s YouTube channel.
